The music stopped when I locked my phone.

Sessions keep playing with the screen locked. If audio stops, check that the session wasn't paused by a call, an alarm, another app's audio, or headphones disconnecting. DiveDeeper pauses in those cases and waits for you to press play.

I can't hear the binaural tones, or they sound like one plain hum.

Binaural tones need stereo headphones, with the left and right channels separate. Turn off Mono Audio (Settings → Accessibility → Audio & Visual) and, on AirPods or Beats, turn off Spatialize Stereo in Control Center. Tones don't work through a single speaker.

What are the tone programs?

A steady program plays one beat for the whole session (for example 10 Hz). A staged program moves between beats across the session (for example Arc: 10 Hz, then 16 Hz, then back to 10 Hz). The diagram under the tone list shows exactly what plays. DiveDeeper makes no claims about what binaural tones do; they are an optional texture under the music.

How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?

Open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

How do I cancel?

In DiveDeeper, Settings → Manage subscription, or in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are billed by Apple, and we can't issue refunds ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com (sign in with your Apple Account, tap "I'd like to...", then "Request a refund"), or through Apple Support.

How does the free trial work?

The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the first charge. Deep Work and Brown Noise stay free whether or not you subscribe.

Does DiveDeeper send me notifications?

Only if you ask: a "Break's over" alert after the optional break, a trial reminder if you request one, and a daily nudge if you turn it on in Settings. Turn any of them off in iOS Settings > Notifications > DiveDeeper.

Where do the Lock Screen countdown and the widgets come from?

A running session shows a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Widgets, Siri and Shortcuts can start a session. Remove a widget by long-pressing it; turn Live Activities off in iOS Settings > DiveDeeper.

Is the music AI-generated?

Yes. The music is AI-generated and mastered for DiveDeeper. The tones, brown noise and end chime are synthesized on your device.

How do I delete my data?

Settings (gear icon) > "Erase favorites and history" removes your favorites, session history, ratings and completed count from this device. To remove everything else DiveDeeper saved (your sound, length and volume settings), delete the app. We hold no copy on a server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Where is my history stored?

Only on your iPhone or iPad. We don't have a copy, so deleting the app deletes your history.
